Network Sales and Marketing

SFMSports.Net is seeking qualified media sales representatives to assist in marketing our broadcast products and sponsorships.

Region/Area: Baltimore, MD; Annapolis, MD; Salisbury-Ocean City, MD

Qualifications: A background of media sales experience in or around the Baltimore market. Direct sales experience in digital media. Must have strong communication skills in both person and in writing.

You set your own hours and work from home, so this is perfect for account executives that are already working full time, but are wanting to make some more money.

SFMSports.Net is Maryland's ONLY full time network dedicated to covering high school and college sports. We produce and broadcast over 300 games annually on our network of 6 radio affiliates and 5 streaming channels.

Compensation: We offer a monthly draw plus 30% commission on all sales, agency and direct... PLUS we offer a cell phone allowance and travel reimbursement. You will be required to sign a confidentiality statement and code of conduct statement with Sound Foundations Media, LLC (the parent company of SFMSports.Net).

On-Site Producers

SFMSports.Net is looking for on-site producers to set-up and maintain broadcast equipment at games and events. The producer is the backbone of each broadcast. Duties include the production of live games; post production of pre-recorded events, podcasts and archived audio. Producers are also responsible for maintaining all podcast pages and directories.

Region/Area: Baltimore, MD; Annapolis, MD; Salisbury-Ocean City, MD

Qualifications: You MUST have prior audio editing experience, with Cool Edit, Adobe Audition and Pro Tools. You must also have prior broadcast remote set-up and maintenance experience. Active knowledge of telephone, ISDN, POTS CODEC, Wi-Fi, and other audio transmission platforms are also required. Understanding of website coding, ftp client management and audio archival methods are recommended. The ability to lift and carry more than 50lbs is required. Also, the producer must posess a clean driving record, an active Maryland, Delaware, District of Columbia, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York or Goverment Issued drivers license.

Compensation: This is a contractor-based position. The payscale ranges from $45-$70 per event. You will be paid per-event. Mileage is also paid out at the rate of $.51 per mile in most cases.You will be required to sign a confidentiality statement, code of conduct contract and equipment contract with Sound Foundations Media, LLC (the parent company of SFMSports.Net)
