Bayside Power Poll: Week 4

September 25, 2017

* Lots of movement in the middle with the Easton-JM Bennett game. Cambridge stays pat due to their tough schedule so far and when Tyler Harding comes back will have a better QB than Bennett, Wicomico and Easton. In addition they have Taj Molock, one of the best backs in the Bayside. That all said from 5 to 10 there is a lot of parity in my mind and not much difference between the teams, the same can be said 11-13.

1...North Caroline (4-0)-The Bulldogs rolled off 55 unanswered points after getting down 7-0 early to defeat Queen Anne’s on the road. David Bailey and Will Manship had multiple TD runs.

Next Game: Friday vs. Stephen Decatur

2...Kent Island (4-0)-The Bucs went on the road to Berlin and defeated Stephen Decatur 30-3. Multiple players were involved in the scoring.

Next Game: Friday vs. Parkside

3...Queen Anne’s (2-2)-The Lions scored out of the gate on their first offensive play, a TD pass from SyRus McGowan to Garrett Murray but then gave up 55 unanswered to lose at home to North Caroline 55-7.

Next Game: Friday vs. Kent County

4...Parkside (3-1)-The Rams without their top RB Nayel Oge held off Salisbury rival Wicomico 31-8. The Rams got TDs from multiple players. The game was 15-8 at halftime. Next Week: Friday at Kent Island

5...Cambridge (1-3)-The Vikings got a big day from RB Taj Molock who had all 4 TDs in fending off Colonel Richardson 28-14. The Vikes were without QB Tyler Harding.

Next Week: Friday vs. Nandua (VA)

6...JM Bennett (3-1)-The Clippers defeated Easton at home on Saturday 31-13. Bennett scored on offense and special teams. SaQuan Cotton with a pair of TDs. The game was just 14-7 going into the 4th qtr.

Next Game: Friday at Snow Hill

7...Easton (1-3)-The Warriors fell on the road to JM Bennett 31-13. QB Jarin Winters and RB Tre Banks each with a TD. Easton led 7-0 after 1 and trailed just 14-7 after 3. Special teams was an issue for the Warriors in this one except on the opponents FG attempts.

Next Week: Thursday at Southern-Anne Arundel County

8...Wicomico (2-2)-The Indians fell to Salisbury rival Parkside 31-8. This game was 15-8 at halftime.

Next Game: Friday vs. Washington

9...Stephen Decatur (2-2)-The Seahawks fell to Kent Island 30-3. K John Ford providing the lone points.

Next Game: Friday at North Caroline

10...Colonel Richardson (1-3)-The Colonels fell to home to Cambridge 28-14. The game was 8-8 at halftime. Jordan Gabriel and Robert Thompson each had a TD.

Next Game: at Arcadia (VA)

11...Washington (1-3)-The Jaguars fell on the road in a non-conference game to Henlopen Conference team Laurel 50-18.

Next Week: Friday at Wicomico
